Passing the Life & Health insurance exam can seem difficult at first, but you can do this! In order to help, here are top 5 tips for passing the Life & Health insurance exam.
1. Manage your time
On the exam, you will be given 2 hours to answer 110 questions and must score a minimum of 70 percent to earn your insurance license. This means you cannot spend too much time on a question, if you are unsure about a question, mark it for review.
2. Read all questions carefully
Before you answer a question, make sure you read the question thoroughly so you can understand what it is asking.
3. Answer all the questions you know the answer to first.
When you begin the exam, I recommend that you only answer all the questions that you know the answer to first, if you don’t know or are unsure of an answer you should mark that question for review. Once you’ve answer all the questions you know the answer to, and then go back and start answering the questions that were marked for review. This technique not only saves you time, but you can also pick up hints from the questions you know the answer to in order to answer questions you do not know the answer.
4. Use Process of Elimination
If you get stuck on a question that you don’t know the answer, use process of elimination. This helps you to get rid of some answers which are obviously wrong and increase your chance of getting the correct answer.
5. Answer all questions
On the insurance exam, you will not lose points for incorrect answers, so to increase your chance of passing make sure you answer all the questions. Even if you don’t know the answer, take your best guess.
